Trainee Driver Bootcamp

We regularly have Bootcamp vacancies.

This Govermental Scheme is open to anyone over the age of 19 and already in possession of a minimum Category B (car) licence.

After an initial interview, the preliminary phase is run in conjunction with SP Training, a third-party training provider, before progressing to an intensive in-cab training course with A. W. Jenkinson’s in-house Bootcamp team in Penrith.

Once you obtain your C+E licence, you will be considered for full-time employment with A.W Jenkinson Transport Ltd. As a result, you will complete a further period of induction training and work shadowing with our experienced drivers, who operate from the relevant depots which have included Penrith, Runcorn, Chesterfield and Goole among others.

Please note we cannot offer those residing in Scotland a place on the LGV Skills Bootcamp, as funding is not available in Scotland at this time.
