Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship

A.W. Jenkinson Transport is pleased to support the relaunch of the Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship at Carlisle College, with delivery beginning in September 2025.

We are working closely with the College to help shape a programme that meets the needs of the industry, both locally and nationally. As a major employer in the transport and logistics sector, we recognise the importance of building a strong pipeline of skilled technicians to maintain and future-proof our fleet.

This apprenticeship represents a much-needed step towards addressing the growing shortage of HGV Technicians in our region. It offers people in Cumbria and beyond a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience, industry-recognised qualifications, and long-term career prospects.
