Lockerbie Weighbridge Refurbishment Completed

A recent look behind the scenes at our Lockerbie depot, where our weighbridge had a little TLC. Now over 25 years old, the structure had begun to show signs of wear, with cracks in the main sections affecting accuracy. The bridge was carefully removed and transported to our on-site fabrication workshop, where the team reinforced and rebuilt key structural elements.

With the help of Lawsons Heavy Crane Services and Avery Weigh-Tronix engineers, the weighbridge was lifted back into place in just a couple of hours, fitted with new weigh cells, and fully recalibrated, ready to get back to work.
